Happy New Week Valley View Rotary family and friends!!!
Please join us on Zoom this week and hear from our very own Bob Newberry!!
Important Notes:
Committee Club Assembly
The next Club Assembly will occur in two meetings and have a different feel than in the past. First, we will hear from Moon Tunes and their Annual Report on November 30th at the Onalaska YMCA. Then we will continue on December 14th (no meeting on the 7th as that is the Holiday party - see below) with reports from the remaining committees. We will not be meeting in committees that day, allowing each club time to report on their good work thus far and what is to come. Please let me know if there is anything your committee needs in preparation of your update.
Holiday Party
Watch out for the sign-up for our annual Holiday Party which will take place on Wednesday, December 7th at the La Crosse Country Club with social time starting at 5pm. We will not have a meeting that morning. Be thinking of a good white elephant gift to bring :) if you would like to participate in the fun :)
Grab your coats and make plans to head over to 907 King Street in La Crosse on Friday, November 25th (the day after Thanksgiving) for float decorating and fun! Make plans to then join us in the parade and watch the lights turn on for the Holiday Season!! Thank you to Julie Nelson and Ross Seymour for opening their home for float preparations.
Keep those snacks coming! Kids at Northside Elementary are grateful to have some new snacks to munch on and are quickly working through the treats that have already been sent. Feel free to bring your snacks to Rotary for Julie Nelson to pick up or use the Amazon list and have them sent directly to the school at 1611 Kane St. La Crosse, WI. 54603.
