Last week's presentation on Razia's bus project was interesting and inspiring. As promised, here is the link to contribute to the cause. And, if you'd like to hear Razia's original presentation at the district conference (which many Rotarians have RAVED about) you can go here.
Tom Byerly referenced the fabulous video Edwin Bos had put together for this year's district conference. He's right, it was good. But I'm not going to show it to you. As with so many other things, Rotaryfest will be virtual this year. The upside of this, is that we can all participate without having to drive to Fort Atkinson. Check it out here: Rotaryfest2020
We've had a good showing at our weekly Zoom meetings, but I, for one, want to see EVERYBODY there! If you need a little help getting Zoom to work, let me know and we'll get you going. Don't have a great computer? No problem, you can call in - just watch for the instructions sent out each Tuesday. Looking for a make up opportunity? Most other clubs are meeting online, and helping with Mobile meals, with the Rotary food drive or at Virtual Moon Tunes counts as well. Let Greg Clark know what you have been up to.
Valley View is partnering with Piggy’s, Pearl Street Brewery, and area musicians to do Virtual Moon Tunes every Thursday thru May 21st. It is our way to support our small business Moon Tune vendors. Piggy's will be serving their delicious sandwiches for $10, includes a beverage; with $1 is being donated to the Bar and Restaurant Relief Fund and $1 to the Musician Relief Fund. Find more details on the Moon Tunes Facebook page.
And in case you haven't heard, Moon Tunes has been cancelled, at least through the end of June. Sometimes being fair to all concerned isn't much fun.

Rotary Food drives are underway. If you are able, stock up on groceries and bring your donation the parking lot near Barnes and Noble, the parking lot north of the County Law Enforcement Center, or the Big Lots Parking Lot on the south side on Fridays between 11 am and 1 pm. If you would like to volunteer for this, contact Pat Stephens: pstephens@eagle.uwlax.edu
