This week's program will be somewhat different. Pat Stephens will join us and recognize some of the nonprofits that participated in Rotary Lights this last winter. So we will have several guests along with Pat.
Mobile Meals Sign-up is almost filled! We have just one day, Friday, April 19, that still needs two volunteers. It's a pleasure to see this happen so promptly.
If you go to the sign-up page in Club Runner you will also see that there is a place to sign up for the Downtown Flower Planting on April 27.
Northside Elementary has requested our help in purchasing playground supplies and classroom snacks. If you can contribute, you can either Venmo your donation to Dick Spencer or purchase the items yourself and bring them to Rotary for Julie Nelson to drop off. If you need ideas, here is a link to her Amazon list: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2ZYKDVNEUZS25?ref_=wl_share
Community Service Opportunity
Take advantage of an opportunity to do community service while enjoying a social activity in Downtown La Crosse. On Saturday, April 27, Valley View Rotary will help Downtown Mainstreet, Inc. plant flowers in the planters along the sidewalks. Meet at The Main at 9:30 a.m., where Matt Mahlum will provide coffee to get us fired up. We’ll plant until noon and then convene at the Bodega for lunch.
If you have any questions, ask Julie Nelson for more info.
