Project Team Member Needed for Dentistry Grant. As many of you are aware, Bob Newberry is working on a grant to support a Rotary initiative to provide dental care in Tanzania. A third member is needed for the project team (Bob and Shari Laffredi are already members). This involves primarily helping to review and advise on actions and documents, including the reporting docs and presentation docs over the next year. However, you can become as involved as you desire. How about a trip to Tanzania for instance to see the results? Although anyone can join Bob on that adventure, probably in 2026.
District Dispatch: The District is seeking more Rotarians to be involvement in writing District Dispatch newsletter articles. Blue Jeans Needed:DenimQuilts co-founder, Sally Safranski is looking for blue jeans. She and her team make quilts from blue jean denim for children in foster care and for other special people like VV exchange student Anna. They use non-stretchy jeans in any size, color or condition. What's in your closet that you could donate? Thrifters or garage/estate sale enthusiasts are encouraged to watch for "deals" to buy/donate.Bring to a meeting or call/text Sally (608-399-5383) to make arrangements to get the jeans to her. This is an ongoing need.
