VALLEY VIEW ROTARY/MOON TUNES PRESENTS CHECK TO ROTARY LIGHTS
The Moon Tunes Fans at the July 10 concert donated to feed the hungry in the Coulee Region. Their donations were matched by the Valley View Rotary Club. Additional donations were received from the Rotary Club of Holmen, Ed Jaekel, Matt Mahlum and several other VVRC members. A check for $5,000 was presented to Rotary Lights at the Moon Tunes this past Thursday. All Funds will be going to the Hunger Task Force.

La Crosse/Epinal Cultural Exchange Fundraiser.On Wednesday, August 13, the La Crosse/Epinal Sister City Committee will be holding its annual Cultural Exchange Fundraising Soiree from 5-7:30pm. It is a gourmet Tour de France with wine and appetizers à la Française at Le Chateau, 410 Cass Street. Our club will be donating a basket for the silent auction. There will also be a wine pull, door prizes, and music in the lovely Le Chateau garden by "Under Paris Skies". Admission is $65 per person ($15 is tax deductible). Stefanie Kline past-president of Rotary After Hours is the Sustainability Director at Habitat. Stephanie has asked us to help promote their project. This will be a major improvement in the neighborhood. This project is on the west side of Logan Middle School. They are looking for volunteers for this event. Contact Stefanie Kline at
