Diana DiazGranados is the Community Wellbeing Director at Great Rivers United Way and is also the Executive Director of the Mental Health Coalition of Greater La Crosse. She has extensive experience working on community-level strategies to foster healthy communities. She enjoys working with organizations and communities to identify their assets, needs and use data to help make decisions. Diana started her career as a community health worker in the US Peace Corps in Lesotho, a small country located in southern Africa. She holds master’s degrees in social work and public health from Columbia University in New York and is also a certified Mental Health First Aid trainer.

We celebrated the arrival of the Youth Exchange Students with a picnic at Moon Tunes. Pedro is from Argentina and Giorgia is from Italy. The weather was perfect for a picnic in the park. Great music, food and relaxation was enjoyed by all.

Lili was hosted 10 years ago by Valley View Rotary as a Youth Exchange student from Cologne, Germany. She is a lovely gal. She was hosted by Tom and Cindy Sahlstrom and one or two other families.
Lili reached out to Nancy Schmidt a few days ago. She prepared a nice video update for our club. It's about 7 1/2 minutes. She does indicate she is doing a "crowd funding" effort but no pressure for donations. The video was shown at our August 27 meeting.
