If you picked up an Angel Tree tag from Julie Nelson, please plan to bring your gifts to Rotary this week. (If you miss this week, you can drop off the gifts at either one of the Walmarts or at The Salvation Army. BE SURE TO INCLUDE THE TAG WITH YOUR GIFT!
No need to wrap the gifts, but putting them in a gift bag is much appreciated!
Speaking of gift bags, The Salvation Army could use more of them. If you have a gently used bag you could contribute, or if you find yourself near a Dollar store, please bring those to the meeting. The bigger the better with the bags, and they can be Christmas or generic, but birthday, wedding, or baby won’t help. :)
Foster Kids Christmas Gifts
If you took cards for children in the county foster care program, you can bring your gifts to any club meeting up to the week of December 14, when you can bring them to our Christmas party.
These presents should be wrapped, and the card with the child's name must be attached.

This is a final reminder to sign up for our holiday party on December 14 at the La Crosse Country Club. You can sign up online at:
You don't need to register or log in. Just scroll down below the event description and click the RSVP NOW button. I liked that after I responded that I was coming, it gave me the option of automatically adding the event to my calendar.
Don't forget to put your meal preference in the comment box: cod, pork, or vegetarian pasta.
I will send out a spreadsheet with selections made so far in case you want to review a selection you made.
Meeting Program this Week: Club Assembly
This week’s club meeting will be devoted to Club Assembly, where we break out into our committees and subcommittees to review the last few months and update plans/schedules for the upcoming period.
The goals of Club Assembly are to keep all members informed, engaged, and accountable.
Our new members may want some introduction to the different areas of focus, and we’ll have a brief period at the beginning of the assembly for them to ask questions before they decide who they are going to “caucus” with.
If you are a committee leader, please come prepared with an agenda for this meeting: what did you accomplish last quarter? What are your goals for this coming quarter? What concrete steps will your committees be taking? Even if you have not been serving as a chairperson, this is the time to speak up and share your dreams of what you want to see your committee address.
We are all leaders in the club and in our community, and all our committees have the potential to effect real change. Let’s take full advantage of this opportunity to dream and plan together.
I will be sending out a separate email with attachments to help us prepare for the meeting.
