Time to clean out your closets! As you make room for new Christmas gifts, please help us collect some donations for the Project Proven students at Western Technical College. As you’ll recall from our guest speaker, Colin Walsh, and from our Open World program, Project Proven students are former prisoners, and the goal of Project Proven is to reduce recidivism by helping justice-involved individuals transition to the community through career and educational opportunities. These students have needs for things we often take for granted, so please open your hearts and closets!

Here are the kinds of things needed:

1.   Men’s & women’s clothing (gently used)

·      Warm coats

·      Gloves

·      Hats/stocking caps

·      Winter scarves

·      Shirts, T-shirts, sweatshirts

·      Jeans, pants, sweatpants, activewear

·      New socks/new underwear

2.   Men’s & women’s shoes (gently used)

·      Sneakers

·      Boots

·      Slippers

3.   Toiletries

·      Unused freebies from hotels (shampoo/conditioner/lotion/soap)

·      Any new toiletries you’d like to donate
