As co-founder of the Rivoli Arts District (RAD), Teddy is excited to bring together his extensive background as an artist and with nonprofit leadership and management. Prior to starting the RAD, Teddy was a college professor for over a decade teaching classes as well as directing and producing various theatrical productions, including at Viterbo University. As an artist, Teddy started off as a performer and has served as writer, director and producer in various live performances. Teddy is striving to make the RAD a special hub for artists and creatives of all kinds to gather, work and play.
Valley View Rotary Club members with exchange students Pedro from Argentina and Giorgia from Italy. It was a great dinner with recipes from New Zealand, Columbia, Italy & Argentina.
Once again, Valley View will be participating in the Rotary Lights parade that kicks off the lighting of Riverside Park on November 28.
If you can help decorate the Moon Tunes van, meet at the home of Julie Nelson, 907 King St. in La Crosse, at 4 pm on Friday, November 28.
Even if you aren't able to help with the decorating, you are invited to walk in the parade and hand out can coozies and candy canes. The parade starts at 5:00 pm
We don't have a specific spot in the lineup, so start looking on the corner of 6th and King until you find where we have landed. You are also welcome to call Julie Nelson, Mark Etrheim or Holly Fisher for more guidance.
This is our club's night to support Rotary Lights. We will be needing at least 10-12 volunteers per shift. Please, sign-up below to work 1 or 2 shifts. This is a fun event!
Join us on Zoom if unable to meet with us in person.
