Happy New Week Valley View Rotary family and friends!!!

It was a nice turnout for our holiday party last week! Thank you for everyone taking time to celebrate the holidays and all the good work we do, including the La Crosse County Foster Care Gifts!  It is not too late to turn in your gift, which you can do with the receptionist at the La Crosse County Health and Human Services Building.

Please join us this week at Wahlburgers/Hy-Vee.  This is a one-time offsite visit for our Club Assembly.  We will return to the YMCA for the following Wednesday, December 21st. I apologize for the short notice but Zoom access will not be possible.

The Executive Board will be meeting Tuesday morning, December13th.  Please reply with any items you would like for the board to review or consider.

December Blood drive: Multiple ways you can help

The next Valley View Rotary Red Cross Blood Drive runs from noon-5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, at Stoney Creek Inn.

Scott Friell, Donor Recruitment Representative for the La Crosse American Red Cross, says demand for blood continues high — more donors are needed. All donors will receive a limited-edition Red Cross Long-Sleeved T-Shirt while supplies last.

As a Valley View Rotarian, you can help by:
• Helping during the drive by working from noon-2:30 or 2:30-5 — we need four volunteers; sign up with bquarberg@gmail.com.
• Signing up to give blood redcrossblood.org or 800-733-2767.
• Encouraging others to donate — Share the flyer at work and/or on your social media page (or share from the Valley View Rotary Facebook page.)
