Happy New Week Valley View Rotary family and friends!!!

So why is this week's newsletter coming to you this evening, a little later than usual you ask?  Discover the answer here: https://youtu.be/z3vMisNaqd8.  Clicking this link will also assist you as you read this week's newsletter.

We were able to check out three of the Holiday Fairs listed in last week's newsletter - went to Maple Grove Venues yesterday and spent some time with Matt & Bailey at The Main and then finished at the La Crosse Center.  So much fun to see the holiday spirit alive in well in the Coulee Region!!!

There is no meeting this week.  Please enjoy this time with family and friends and come next week to share all for which you are thankful.

Notes on upcoming meetings: We meet at the Onalaska YMCA November 30th for the Moon Tunes Annual Report.  There is also a possibility we may have an international guest from Kenya attending our meeting if their schedule permits.

Holiday Party

We then will meet in the evening the following week, December 7th for our Holiday Party.  If you haven't done so, please click this link: Evite: Online Invitations, Greeting Cards & Party Ideas and use the link to the google spreadsheet to enter you and your guest's names and meal choices.  We will not have a morning meeting that morning.

Annual La Crosse Foster Child Christmas Gift Service Program

There is so much more fun planned, but for now, who has started their holiday shopping?  If my math is correct, we have 17 foster care cards still available.  If you have requested cards and did not receive them, please let me know.  Most have confirmed to the text message and a couple have come through email by request.  I am extremely grateful for the generosity of our club members and our friends of Valley View that have requested to participate in this annual service to our community.

Mobile Meals

This is our week for Mobile Meals!  A HUGE thank you to all who registered to deliver meals this week.  This is a valuable resource for our community and Valley View is proud to be a long-standing partner!

Committee Club Assembly

The next Club Assembly will occur in two meetings and have a different feel than in the past.  As a reminder, we will not be meeting in committees on December 14th.  Each committee will have an opportunity to report on their good work thus far and overview what is to come.

Committee leaders, please let me know who will be presenting on the 14th and then preferably, I would love to have a representative on our Board Zoom call on the morning of the 13th.

Please let me know if there is anything your committee needs in preparation of your update.

Save the Date: Thursday, November 24th.  Give Thanks Day!!!

Let's take a break this week on what's going on and the busyness of the season in front of us to prepare ourselves for gratitude and all the memories that will be created over the next few weeks, all the smiles that will be photographed, all the texts that will be sent to verify what dish to bring, etc.

I can't wait to hear all you'll have to share!  If you and your loved ones are looking for some new traditions, you can ask Google or check out this link:  https://www.purewow.com/family/thanksgiving-activities.
