Have you started exploring Club Runner, yet? Let me and/or Greg Clark know if you find something missing or that isn't quite right. It's a learning process for all of us and your help in getting the hang of this valuable tool is appreciated.
Way to rock it at iFeed, Valley View, not only did we pack enough food for more than 500 meals, we also won the award for the most food collected in the food drive! Thanks to all who contributed, packed or volunteered. Hats off to Steph Fraase whose leadership has made iFeed an outstanding example of how Rotary connects the world. Check out the pictures from the day here.
Valley View Rotarians can also take great pride in last year's flood response . The concert (under the leadership of Terry Bauer) raised funds that were a lifeline to the people in our area who were hit the hardest. While the money raised was fantastic, some of the administrative challenges that followed are an aspect that could be improved. Vernon County Emergency Management is offering a free seminar on how we could be event better prepared next time. For more information, click here.
More Rotary pride: The Rotary Works Foundation will be receiving the President's Award at this year's AFP banquet. If you'd like to attend the luncheon on November 15th, the Rotary Works Foundation has purchased a table. To attend -for free -, contact Sheila Connors sheila@lacrescenthotel.com;
Warm Feet Warm Hearts The collection bin will be here until November 13. Please bring an item that someone staying at the warming center would appreciate. Socks, gloves, coffee and more.
