Welcome to the first edition of Valley View Rotary's newsletter published on Club Runner!
I'll admit, I like the look of the version created by Julie Haas and crew on MailChimp a bit better, but the hope is this will offer us more integration and will make it easier to communicate in the long run.
And while I have demonstrated that back-lit selfies can work for profile pictures, Jeff Kerkman has offered to take a professional photo of EACH OF US, so we can all update our Club Runner profiles and the photo in the directory. Hooray!
Pints for Polio was a great evening at the Pearl Street Brewery. Thanks to all who attended. Check out the photos here.
Remember to bring your donations for Northside Elementary. We have ear buds and pencil sharpeners covered so if you want to bring something else there is a need for gloves (especially cheap, black ones that all look the same) quarters for laundry, shampoo and conditioner, acne medicine and books.
iFeed is this coming Saturday. If you're on the team, you'll need to be at Logan at 7:45 a.m.. If you want to come and cheer us on, we'll be there until approx. 10 am. A big part of iFeed is the food drive and Steph will be putting out a collection box on Wednesday if you are unable to drop off your items at Logan on Saturday.
Warm Feet Warm Hearts We'll also have a collection for Warm Hands Warm Hearts, the Rotary effort to provide gloves, socks and other needed items for the warming center.
