Newsletter #34 for 20/21
Just for FUN this week's Meeting.
Favorite and new recipes! We are all at home more than ever, what new tastes have you discovered??
Our club is considering the prospects of a new venue? We have loved Famous Dave's for over 20 years, but the club doesn't fit well in the space anymore and we want to be able to incorporate a virtual feature in our meetings when we go back to in person meetings. Admittedly we have lost about 10 members since we were forced to go Zoom for meetings, but I believe that will change quickly when we start to enjoy each others company in person sometime in the next months. If anyone has a location that they think we could use, please let Julie Nelson or myself know. Looking at River of Life Church, Stoney Creek, Celebrations, Marshview room Myrick Park.
Homeless Donations- You can drop your clothing gifts into the box at Julie Nelson's front porch (907 King St,) or in the box outside the office to Great Rivers United Way (1855 Main St) or, if they want to make a financial contribution, they can send it to Valleyview Rotary at the PO Box at the end of this newsletter. Our club is pretty amazing, We have raised $265 dollars for this along with a LOONNGG list of donated clothing, please contribute as you are able. This is the thank You note from our speaker Sue Graff.

Huge losses for LaCrosse. Roger Legrand and David Amborn died in the last couple of weeks, great Rotarians, truly giving of themselves. Our community will miss them.
